LRP and 50 ppm Diesel in Namibia

Postby kobus » Wed May 01, 2013 7:09 pm

On 29 April 2013 the Ministry of Mines and Energy announced that as from 1 May 2013:

1) The import of LRP (Lead Replacement Petrol) will be discontinued. Once the existing stock is exhausted........ (My 1971 Beetle!!)

2) Diesel with a sulphur content of 50 ppm will be imported.

16 MAY UPDATE: MME announces that the low sulpher diesel will only become available once the LRP is sold out. I assume they intend using the LRP storage tanks for the new diesel.
