Tourtist visa limited to 10 days?

Postby emanuel » Wed Mar 30, 2011 4:38 pm

In some trip reports I read that when comming from north only a 10 days visa is avavilable for tourists. This is a hassel as one is not able to realy visit th country.
Is this still true?

From different sources, I have learned the following.
What wrote nduzi is right, the tourist visa is valid for 30 days, however, you get this only by the Embassy of of your residence country. For example in Matadi DRC you obtained at best a 5 day transit visa. But mostly, the ambassador is absent, or there are upcoming elections, then you get nothing at all.
